The acknowledgement letter from the Federation

The following is the acknowledgement letter from the Federation. They confirm USD 7160.- donations from Moonlight Fans :

The Australian Red Cross confirmation for USD 1000.-:

I am happy however to confirm that up until today, 1st October 2008, a total
of $1,000 has been raised collectively via online fundraising from your
website (www.everydayhero.com.au/moonlight_red_cross) and donated to
Australian Red Cross.

We have confirm  USD 8160.- and we still waiting for the American Red Cross confirmation ( we could track 1892 USD.-)  the German Red Cross (we could track USD 584.44.-) the Spanish Red Cross ( we could track USD 107.45.-) and one donation to the Schweiz Red Cross for USD 44.07.-

Moonlight account: campaign results

While we wait for the final report from the Federation, fans are still sending us the confirmation emails of their donations.

The Moonlight account is adding 1000.- from the Aussie fans fundraiser campaign, and our total today is:

Till 10/03/08  9048.55 USD plus 1000.- from Aussie fans: USD 10048.55.-

Fans has already made the donation 10/03/08: the donors are 161 plus 21 aussie fans: 182.-

We are waiting for the final report from the Federation to inform the media about the campaign results.

Moonlight and The Red Cross

Dear international Moonlight fan community,

At Moonlightline en Español we are organizing a worldwide campaign to raise awareness of the whole Moonlight fan community and support the renewal of the show on TV, joining the philanthropic activities that American Moonlight fans have been conducting for the same purposes.

We have chosen September 28th, the anniversary of ML’s premiere in the USA, as a day when fans from around the world make a monetary donation to the Red Cross in Moonlight’s name.

We will be organizing the collection and report of the total funds raised in this web site as we receive donors’ notice of their donation in the following Email adress: moonlightredcross@gmail.com. The donations will go to the different programs of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies around the world, and donors can choose the program they prefer when they make the actual donation in the IFRC web page. We plan to inform the media and the TV networks and cable channels in the USA about what we achieve in the campaign.
